Banjarbaru, 25 November 2023 - ULM through the Paguyuban KSE ULM reaffirms its commitment to support community development in Aranio by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the Community Development (COMDEV) Program. This collaboration includes the implementation of various innovative initiatives, including Hydroponic, Maggot House, Mandai Chili Sauce, and Pakcoy Stick programs.
In a ceremony attended by village representatives, the signing of this MoU marks a significant milestone in building a sustainable partnership. The KSE LMU COMDEV Program focuses on the development of various sectors, with a primary focus on modern agriculture and diversification of the local economy.
The Hydroponic program, as one of the flagship initiatives, will bring a revolutionary approach to increasing plant production by utilizing hydroponic technology. Meanwhile, the Maggot House is expected to provide innovative solutions in organic waste management and utilize larvae as a sustainable resource.
Mandai Chili Sauce, a program emphasizing the development of chili sauce production from local ingredients, and Pakcoy Stick, an initiative in vegetable farming, are integral parts of the joint commitment to create a strong and diverse local economy.
This collaboration is expected to have a significant positive impact, elevate the living standards of the community, enhance economic self-sufficiency, and create new opportunities in the agricultural and local economic sectors.
