Banjarbaru, 19 November 2023 - KSE ULM Community Association held a Community Development program socialization event in Aranio Village, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan. The event aims to introduce and empower the local community through various innovative programs, including hydroponic, maggot house, mandai chili sauce, and pakcoy stick programs.
In an effort to improve agriculture in Aranio Village, KSE ULM Community Association introduced the hydroponic program. This program helps the community to switch to efficient, productive, and environmentally friendly modern farming methods. Participants of the socialization are invited to understand the basic principles of hydroponics and receive practical training to apply it to their land.
One of the highlights of this socialization is the maggot house program. KSE ULM Community Association introduces the concept of organic waste processing using maggot larvae. This program not only helps reduce organic waste in the village, but also creates a source of high-quality animal feed. Participants are invited to understand how to start and run this program at the household level.
KSE ULM Community Association also brings innovation in the agro-industrial sector by introducing the mandai chili sauce and pakcoy stick programs. Participants are invited to participate in workshops for making mandai chili sauce and pakcoy sticks as an effort to increase the added value of local agricultural products. This program is expected to help the people of Aranio Village develop their agro-industrial potential.
The socialization event was attended by dozens of residents of Aranio Village who enthusiastically participated in every activity. The Head of Aranio Village expressed his appreciation for KSE ULM Community Association's efforts in assisting the development of the village through Community Development programs.
KSE ULM Community Association hopes that through this program, the people of Aranio Village can experience significant positive impact in improving welfare and developing local economic potential. This program not only provides new knowledge and skills, but also opens opportunities for people to actively engage in sustainable development.
